Festival goers will gather each day to enjoy live music, dance, spoken word performances, African marketplace, showcase performances, fashion, and hair shows.  The original presentation of local entertainment has remained central to the attraction of the festival and over the years international performances have been incorporated into the Festival line-up such as: The Mighty Sparrow, Fela Kuti, KRS-1 and Lauren Hill.
