Located in the Center for Arts & Culture's three-floor academy building, which spans over 13,000 square feet, YAA offers quality instruction to youth, ages 3 to 19 years old in dance, theater, and African drumming. Classes are offered after school and all day on Saturdays. In addition to onsite classes, YAA provides arts training and professional development workshops in theater, dance, creative writing, and music to over 1,200 students and teachers at Brooklyn-based public schools through its Arts In Action community outreach program.
